When asked to define Poly in one word, Zuva K-P ' 28 said, “Amazing.” Zuva has been attending Poly since sixth grade 和 shared three of his favorite parts of Poly. 首先是课程. “I loved history my whole life 和 this year my teacher is one of the best teachers I’ve ever had. They do a very good job relating to the students; every time we are in class we have a check-in before we get to doing the hard work. I’ve loved everything that we learned in the class, but my favorite thing I have worked on was an essay about Supreme Court cases. We had to choose a case 和 explain which amendment of the Constitution was the focus of the case. Second, is the sports at Poly. “我打棒球。, 夺旗橄榄球, 篮球, 和足球, but my favorite is baseball 和 I’m going to play on the team here in the spring. In five years I want to play varsity baseball at Poly 和 I’m going to put in all the work for that.” Lastly, Zuva mentioned that the absolute best part about Poly is its community. “Everybody that I’ve met here has been really nice, all the staff members 和 faculty, 学生们. Everybody is just really thoughtful. 聚了 蓝魔之夜 和 同学会 (events including art performances, 适合所有年龄的活动, 和 sports for anyone from the Poly community to enjoy on Poly’s campus) 和 those are really good for community building.”
